Privacy Policy

The BidCliq Blog (blog.bidcliq.com) is published by Bidcliq, Inc. This page explains what the blog itself collects. For everything else, including how BidCliq’s products handle data, our main Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy and Terms of Service apply.

What this blog collects

  • Server logs: like any website, our hosting records technical information such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to keep the site secure and working.
  • Preferences: the blog stores small settings in your browser, such as light or dark mode and your reading position, so the site remembers them. These stay on your device.
  • Comments: comments are currently turned off, so we do not collect comment data.
  • Free audit form: if you request an audit, we collect your name, work email, website and approximate monthly pageviews, plus the page you submitted from. We use this only to prepare your audit and contact you about it. Submissions are stored in our WordPress database and emailed to our team.
  • Free downloads: to get a checklist, infographic or other download, you give us your email address and, optionally, your first name. We email you a private download link, notify our team, and store the request. If you tick the box for new guides, we may email you new BidCliq articles; you can unsubscribe at any time.
  • Where form data goes: details you submit through the audit and download forms are stored on this website, sent to our CRM (HubSpot) so our team can follow up, and emailed using Amazon Simple Email Service (SES).
  • Booking a call: the meeting calendar is provided by Cal.com. When you open or use it, Cal.com receives the details you enter and may set its own cookies, under the Cal.com privacy policy.
  • Analytics: The blog does not currently use analytics or advertising cookies. If that changes, this page will be updated first.

Embedded content

Articles may include content embedded from other sites, such as videos or code samples. Embedded content behaves as if you visited the other site directly, and that site may collect data about you under its own privacy policy.

Your rights and contact

To ask about your data or exercise your privacy rights, email ops@bidcliq.com. See our main Privacy Policy for the full list of your rights and how we respond.
