Editorial policy

This page explains how articles on the BidCliq Blog are written, reviewed, sourced and kept up to date.

Who writes our articles

Every article shows who wrote it. The named author is responsible for the article’s accuracy, and their author page lists their role, background and other articles. We do not publish articles without a named author.

How we use AI

We may use AI tools to help with research, outlines, editing and first drafts. AI is never the final word: the named author checks every fact, figure, configuration example and claim, and rewrites the article in their own words before it is published. We never describe an article as written or reviewed by an expert unless that is true.

Sources and citations

We link to primary sources wherever we can: specifications such as the Prebid documentation and IAB Tech Lab standards, official vendor documentation, and original research. When we quote figures, we name the source and when it was published.

Corrections and updates

If you spot an error, please email ops@bidcliq.com or use our contact page. We fix factual errors and add a note at the end of the article saying what changed and when. We aim to review reported errors within two business days. Corrections are noted at the end of the article as: “Correction (date): [what changed].”

How dates are shown

Each article shows the date it was first published. If it has been edited since, it also shows the date it was last updated.

Independence

BidCliq sells header bidding and ad operations software. When an article discusses BidCliq’s own products, or compares them with alternatives, we say so clearly in the article. Our recommendations are based on what works for publishers, not on what we sell.
